You don’t have to be a former City Comptroller to know it’s a corrupt, hideous idea for Trump’s SEC to roll back “pay-to-play” regulations that prohibit investors from bribing State Treasurers and other public pension fiduciaries with campaign contributions. But given all the noise, you may need a former City Comptroller to tell you that’s what’s happening.
